Rick Urban

Rick is that father who sent his daughter to a 6:00 a.m. class every time she misbehaved – a testament to how much he believes in the power of yoga! Husband to Judy, “a force of nature,” and father to Casey, “the softest part of my heart,” Rick is a member of one of our many yoga families. An urban cowboy through and through, Rick and his wife train horses in Boerne, and both have been attending classes since the studios opened.

Rick loves anything by Bob Dylan, and his favorite read is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Many people don’t know that Rick holds a law degree, and true to his quiet nature, refuses to tell us what his guilty pleasure involves. Regardless of his inability to divulge his innermost secrets, Rick is a great asset to our Bikram Yoga family.

“Happiness is a thing of gravity. It seeks for hearts of bronze, and carves itself there slowly; pleasure startles it away by tossing flowers to it. Joy’s smile is much more close to tears than it is to laughter. ” Victor Hugo
